Piatti Pop © is a project conceived by Stefano Bressani, uniting past, present, and future in a unique artistic and sensory experience. Inspired by the historic tradition of the commemorative plate—now largely forgotten—Bressani reinterprets this symbol of conviviality, transforming it into a contemporary work of art to be experienced and carried along.
The project was born from an exceptional collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani, who, together with the artist, created a “four-handed plate”: Oldani designed an iconic dish according to his culinary philosophy, and Bressani transformed it into a material sculpture, capturing the essence of taste through fabric and his distinctive technique.
The result? An art object that transcends the mere memory of food: it becomes an experience to hang, cherish, and relive. From this initial collaboration, the project expanded to include other renowned chefs, each contributing their signature dish. The public has thus witnessed the fusion of art and gastronomy, where every creation tells a different story, yet evokes the same emotion. With Piatti Pop ©, Stefano Bressani creates a new form of multisensory storytelling that bridges material, aesthetics, and taste, taking art beyond the plate.
