Architecture
All works included in the architecture section convey a distinctive vision through which the artist captures elements that, while inanimate, are integral to everyday life. The stage that frames our existence is often represented by the home, but for the artist, this concept expands beyond a single structure to encompass entire cities, as seen in the SKULTOCITY © Project.
Each piece created with this approach is marked by characteristics that go beyond the artist’s already recognizable technique.
Starting from the architectural morphology—photographed, deconstructed, and reassembled along imaginary planes—the aim is to convey a three-dimensionality that evokes reality.
Moreover, every work contains a recurring element: the Moon. It is not merely a point of light, but a vanishing point, a kind of space-time gateway that allows the viewer to enter and exit the work at will, discovering the fractals created by the textures and weaves.
For this reason, each architectural piece plays with shadows and the light that strikes its three-dimensional form, producing shifting areas of darkness. In photography, these shadows may appear deliberately “incorrect” from an academic perspective, yet they are perfectly calibrated to draw the curious gaze of an attentive and discerning observer.
