Stefano Bressani celebrates the Ponte Coperto of Pavia<\/h2>\n

The Palio del Ticino in Pavia<\/strong>, held in June 2014, saw contemporary art take center stage thanks to Stefano Bressani\u2019s <\/strong>work. For the eighth edition of the event, the Pavia-born artist created the official banner for the Palio<\/strong>, celebrating one of the city\u2019s most beloved symbols: the Ponte Coperto. <\/p>\n

The Ponte Coperto: a symbol of unity<\/h3>\n

Bressani chose the Ponte Coperto <\/strong>as the subject for the Palio del Ticino, emblematic of the city\u2019s identity. Rebuilt after World War II, the bridge connects the two banks of the Ticino River, uniting the city not only physically but also culturally and symbolically.
