An immersive pavilion of culture, tradition, and innovation<\/h2>\n

During Expo Milan 2015<\/a><\/strong>, the Qatar pavilion<\/strong> stood out for its narrative strength and the intensity of the experience offered to visitors. The pavilion was conceived as an immersive journey, where visitors could engage with traditional music, dance, and flavors. In particular, the sofra \u2014 the typical Arab table symbolizing hospitality and sharing \u2014 was celebrated.<\/p>\n

\"Qatar<\/h3>\n

Symbolic architecture and sustainable technologies<\/h3>\n

The pavilion\u2019s architecture evoked an ancient palace-fortress. Four corner towers and a monumental entrance staircase defined its visual impact. At the center stood a large jafer<\/strong>, the traditional food basket, transformed into a true architectural installation measuring 11 meters in diameter and 8 meters in height. The structure also adopted sustainable technologies, demonstrating Qatar\u2019s commitment to environmental responsibility and food culture.<\/p>\n

Meeting Stefano Bressani: art and cultural exchange<\/h3>\n

In this evocative context, Stefano Bressani engaged with the Qatar pavilion. The artist, renowned for his Sculture Vestite<\/em>, was invited to explore the exhibition spaces and immerse himself in the pavilion\u2019s evocative atmosphere, reminiscent of an authentic Arab souk. His meeting with Mohammed Al Bloshi<\/strong>, a prominent figure in Qatar\u2019s banking and petroleum sectors and spokesperson for Expo Italy, fostered a valuable artistic and cultural dialogue.<\/p>\n

A work dedicated to the Arabian horse<\/h3>\n

Bressani wished to pay tribute to Qatar with a work inspired by the Arabian horse<\/strong>, a symbol of strength, elegance, and tradition. The horse is deeply rooted in the country\u2019s culture, with Qatar recognized internationally for its equestrian tradition. The country also hosts modern facilities and high-level sporting competitions, reinforcing its role in the world of equestrian sports.<\/p>\n

A dialogue looking to the future<\/h3>\n

The experience at Expo left Bressani with a strong desire to continue the cultural and creative dialogue with Qatar.
