SUMMARY:Angels between Heaven and Earth: art and spirituality between Italy and Argentina
DESCRIPTION:Angels between Heaven and Earth: art and spirituality between Italy and Argentina\nAngels between Heaven and Earth is the title of the exhibition hosted at the Serrone of the Royal Villa of Monza from December 7\, 2017\, to January 21\, 2018. The event\, rich in symbolic and intercultural meaning\, placed at its center the figure of the angel — a universal archetype that crosses religions\, cultures\, and artistic traditions. The project\, conceived by Daniele Crippa\, brought together over 500 Italian and international artists in a dialogue between contemporary art and spirituality. \n \nIglesia de los Angeles: the Argentinian project\nIn the heart of the El Milagro estate in Argentina stands the Iglesia de los Angeles\, an architectural and spiritual project promoted by Daniele Crippa. The building is decorated with more than a thousand 20×20 cm ceramic tiles\, crafted by local artisans from the works of renowned Italian artists such as Gillo Dorfles\, Giosetta Fioroni\, and Mimmo Paladino. The project is a tribute to the indigenous Christian community and to the deep connection between art\, faith\, and territory. \nThe Italian connection: the Monza exhibition\nThe Monza exhibition served as a symbolic bridge between Italy and Argentina. The artworks\, inspired by the decoration of the Iglesia de los Angeles\, formed a mosaic of contemporary angelic visions. The event was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Direzione Generale della Reggia di Monza and the patronage of both the Archdiocese and Argentine cultural institutions — reinforcing the dialogue between the two nations. \nStefano Bressani and the contemporary angel\nAmong the featured artists\, Stefano Bressani presented a smiling\, colorful angel crafted in his unmistakable style. His work approaches spirituality through a sustainable vision\, where the angel becomes a symbol of regeneration\, ecology\, and social commitment. The use of fabric and recycled materials gives the figure a new lightness — tied to the responsibility of the present. \nThe figure of the angel in art history\nFrom Giotto to Chagall\, from Michelangelo to Haring\, the angel has remained a constant presence in the artistic imagination. In Angels between Heaven and Earth\, the angel reaffirms itself as a universal icon capable of transcending cultures and evoking timeless values — protection\, brotherhood\, and hope.Art thus becomes a bridge for dialogue and reflection on the meaning of the sacred in the contemporary world. \nArt and spirituality in dialogue\nThe publication Angeli & Artisti nella Iglesia de los Angeles (Bellavite Editore) accompanied the exhibition\, offering further insight into the project. Overall\, Angels between Heaven and Earth stands as a successful example of art as a bridge among peoples\, spirituality\, and creativity. In the age of globalization\, the angel becomes a messenger of shared ethics and of humanity’s search for beauty\, meaning\, and connection.

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at OPEN20 Venice: between sculpture and contemporary reflection
DESCRIPTION:Stefano Bressani OPEN20 Venice\nStefano Bressani OPEN20 Venice marks a biennium of intense creative activity and international recognition.\nBetween 2016 and 2017\, the artist strengthened his presence in the contemporary art scene\, presenting visionary works in venues such as Molino Stucky\, the Arsenale\, and the Hotel Excelsior during the Venice Film Festival. \nPicasso Re-loaded: a dialogue with Cubism\nWith Picasso Re-loaded\, Bressani reinterprets the Cubist legacy through his personal lens — not merely as homage\, but as a critical dialogue with the visual language of the 20th century. His sculptures reconstruct and deconstruct the human figure\, inviting reflection on art as an interpretation of reality. \n \nSkultoflower and the Arte Laguna Prize\nThe Skultoflower series\, awarded the OPEN19 – Arte Laguna Special Prize\, explores the connection between art and nature. The work symbolizes rebirth — blooming as transformation.\nPresented at Molino Stucky and the Arsenale\, the piece conveys an ecological message through form and color. \nKaotika – Without Time: time and visual chaos\nAt OPEN20 Venice\, Bressani presented Kaotika – Without Time\, an installation exhibited at the Hotel Excelsior. Serial figures in motion embody the disconnection of the present. The black and white tones recall classic cinema\, while the visual rhythm mirrors the disorientation of the contemporary individual. Displayed alongside artists such as Yoko Ono\, the work reaffirms the relevance of Bressani’s research. \nA scenography of contemporaneity\nAccording to curator Serena Mormino\, Kaotika is a “scenography of contemporaneity.” White becomes a symbol of identity loss and impersonal communication. The artwork denounces digital solitude and the erosion of meaning — yet also opens the door to individual renewal. \nRead critical essay \nArt as possibility\nDespite its apparent chromatic lightness\, Bressani’s art is rich in critical depth. His language merges tradition and innovation\, leading to a journey of awareness. Aesthetics become a tool to question the human condition in the age of speed and post-truth. \nToward new projects\nWith OPEN20 Venice\, Stefano Bressani reaffirms the coherence of his artistic vision. His works raise questions about time and identity\, opening spaces for shared reflection. Amid new exhibitions and international collaborations\, the artist continues to engage the public through images\, installations\, and digital dialogue.

SUMMARY:Skultoflower Maliumbas by Stefano Bressani in Los Angeles
DESCRIPTION:Skultoflower Maliumbas by Stefano Bressani: from the Art of Venice to the Nature of Los Angeles\nSkultoflower Maliumbas by Stefano Bressani goes beyond sculpture: it transforms\, inhabits\, and lives within its space. After its debut at the Arsenale in Venice\, the work found a new home in the gardens of Bel Air\, Los Angeles — a journey through symbolism\, matter\, and transformation that mirrors the artist’s profound vision. \n  \n \nFrom the waters of Venice to the Arte Laguna Prize\nThe work first came to life beneath the arches of the Arsenale Nord in Venice\, where it captivated the jury of the Arte Laguna Prize in the special OPEN section. This recognition opened new international horizons for both Skultoflower Maliumbas and its creator. \nFollowing its success\, the piece moved to the Molino Stucky pier\, under the watchful gaze of the lagoon and an international audience — where a chance encounter with an American family would change its destiny. \nThe garden of Bel Air: between nature and pop culture\nSkultoflower Maliumbas crossed the ocean and landed in Los Angeles\, in the heart of Bel Air. There\, nestled in a lush garden\, it entered into dialogue with the Californian environment — sunlight\, hills\, and the echoes of 1980s pop culture. \nA living sculpture\nThe piece becomes a living organism: it changes with the seasons\, interacts with nature\, and takes root in the soil. At its core stands a symbolic flower — delicate yet resilient\, fragile yet strong — made of industrial materials such as neoprene and corten steel. \nSymbolism\, matter\, and metamorphosis\nThe geometric cube hosting the flower represents the tension between opposites: Skultoflower Maliumbas unites rigor and organicity\, matter and spirit\, industry and nature. It is a work in perpetual transformation\, embodying the cycles of life — blooming\, decay\, and rebirth. \n \nThe solid stem and corten petals evoke transformation as a vital force — a hallmark of Bressani’s art\, which embraces imperfection and turns it into beauty. \nAn endless story\nFrom Venice to Los Angeles\, Skultoflower Maliumbas becomes a bridge between cultures\, memories\, and landscapes. No longer a simple object\, but an immersive and personal experience — a sensory narrative that evolves with each encounter\, becoming part of both life and collective imagination.

SUMMARY:Skultoflower by Stefano Bressani at MUPA Portofino
DESCRIPTION:Skultoflower by Stefano Bressani at MUPA Portofino\nIn 2016\, Stefano Bressani presented Skultoflower at the Museum of the Park in Portofino (MUPA)\, where the work entered the permanent collection. After its preview at the international exhibition OPEN in Venice\, the artist from Pavia consolidated his language between sculpture\, design\, fashion\, and existential reflection. \nA cubist flower between body and spirit\nStanding three meters tall\, Skultoflower is a monumental sculpture. Its corten steel base symbolizes the body and transformation\, while a colorful neoprene cube rises as a symbol of the soul. The contrast between organic matter and rational form embodies the tension between impermanence and permanence. \n \nThe Maliumbas texture: a visual identity\nA distinctive element of the work is the Maliumbas texture\, created and patented by Bressani. This vivid\, pop\, and tribal surface acts as both visual narrative and inner language — a vocabulary that merges art\, fashion\, and experimentation. \nA work between Venice and Portofino\nAfter its debut in Venice\, Skultoflower received the Arte Laguna Special Prize – OPEN Section and participated in the 11th Arte Laguna Prize. Its arrival in Portofino\, under the direction of Daniele Crippa and curated by Serena Mormino\, established the work among the greats of contemporary sculpture. \nToday\, Skultoflower is part of the MUPA collection alongside historic names such as Lucio Fontana\, Arman\, Guttuso\, Pomodoro\, and Man Ray. \n\nA metaphor for the human condition\nWith Skultoflower\, Bressani proposes a sculptural metaphor of existence — a hybrid between nature and artifice\, between spirit and matter. The flower is not just beauty; it is transformation\, deconstruction\, and rebirth. As curator Serena Mormino writes\, it is “a work to be worn with the eyes\,” an invitation to look beyond the surface and experience art as an emotional and intimate journey. \n

SUMMARY:Skultoflower by Stefano Bressani at OPEN 19 Venice
DESCRIPTION:The lagoon dresses in art: Skultoflower exhibited in Venice\nAlmost twenty years after its inception\, OPEN – International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations confirms itself as one of the most visionary events on the contemporary art scene. The 2016 edition transformed Venice into an open-air museum\, where art meets everyday life\, engaging both passersby and the urban landscape. \nThe installations\, scattered among calli\, fondamenta\, and lagoon views\, disrupt visual continuity and generate aesthetic short circuits that provoke reflection and wonder. OPEN 19 is much more than an exhibition: it is an immersive experience where the viewer becomes an active part of the work. \n\nSkultoflower: the “dressed” sculpture by Bressani as a highlight in Venice\nAmong the exhibiting artists stands Stefano Bressani\, master of Italian contemporary art\, with his monumental Skultoflower\, strategically positioned at the entrance of the Hilton Molino Stucky. After the success of Maliumbas Nature Sound at Casa Milan\, Bressani brought to Venice a sculpture that perfectly synthesizes his poetic and material language. \nStanding over three meters tall\, Skultoflower rises from a corten steel stem — a symbol of transformation over time. From this metallic structure blooms a cube covered with Maliumbas texture\, a hallmark of Bressani’s stylistic identity. The work fuses strength and delicacy\, geometry and nature\, industry and poetry. \nA symbol of resilience and sustainability\nThe sculpture is made from recycled materials\, in line with the artist’s ethical approach. The contrast between oxidizing metal and the visual lightness of fabric transforms the piece into a living organism\, able to communicate with its viewers. A symbol of coexistence between the ephemeral and the enduring\, the soft and the solid\, humankind and time. \nThe curatorship is by Serena Mormino\, art critic and president of the cultural association Amarte\, who accompanies Bressani in this edition. “His works combine different suggestions\,” she notes\, “merging into a unique language\, suspended between Dolce Vita\, Pop Art\, and the future.” \nRead the critical essay \nWithin the context of OPEN 19\, Skultoflower becomes the ambassador of a new Italian sculpture that unites craftsmanship and innovation\, tradition and experimentation\, transforming matter into vision. \nAn art to be lived\, not just observed\nWith this installation\, Stefano Bressani confirms his ability to create works that go beyond mere admiration — pieces that engage and interact. His Scultura Vestita invites the audience to a sensory and emotional experience where art becomes part of everyday life.

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at Casa Milan – Fuori Salone 2016
DESCRIPTION:Colours of fabrics sound: Stefano Bressani at Fuori Salone 2016\nDuring the 2016 Fuori Salone\, Casa Milan hosted Colours of Fabrics Sound\, an exhibition by the artist from Pavia\, Stefano Bressani. The show celebrated the fusion of art\, fabric\, and sound\, bringing to Milan ten works capable of engaging the senses in a unique experience. \nFamous for his Sculture Vestite\, the artist presented a symbolic and multisensory vision where fabric and sound dialogue\, giving life to works charged with meaning and poetic tension. \n \n“Maliumbas Nature Sound”: the sound sculpture\nAmong the most representative works of the exhibition stands Maliumbas Nature Sound (2016): a 280 cm sculpture covered in colorful fabrics and equipped with a Bose audio system. More than an art object\, it is a musical instrument that embodies the artist’s synesthetic vision\, merging sight\, touch\, and sound into one aesthetic experience. \nFabric\, nails\, and dynamism\nBressani’s sculptures are made from tailored fabrics assembled without seams and held together by symbolic nails. In Fighting (2016)\, the energy of athletic movement merges with his plastic research\, bringing motion to the stage. \nThe contrast between rigid materials and soft textiles reveals an aesthetic built on dualities: organic/inorganic\, solid/fragile — a language that escapes traditional definitions. \nBetween Pop Art and nature: icons and symbols\nWorks such as Fiat F2 and White Caddy (2014) pay homage to the automotive world\, while Regal Horse and the On My Fingers series (2013–2014) introduce a natural dimension through symbols like the frog — an icon of transformation and adaptability. \nAn aesthetics of inconsistency\nBressani’s creative process is born from musical and instinctive impulse. His works follow no fixed scheme: they emerge from emotional suggestions and contrasts. The result is an art to be listened to\, touched\, and lived. \nColours of Fabrics Sound is not just an exhibition but a poetic proposition — an invitation to rediscover art as a daily and immersive experience. \n

SUMMARY:Picasso and his passions: Bressani in exhibition in Pavia
DESCRIPTION:A contemporary dialogue with Guernica\nThe exhibition Picasso and his passions\, held at Palazzo Vistarino in Pavia\, offers an exciting journey into the creative universe of one of the greatest masters of modern art. Among over two hundred works including drawings\, ceramics\, and oils\, the exhibition also features three original Italian reinterpretations of the famous painting Guernica\, created by Stefano Bressani\, Paolo Baratella\, and Paolo Ceribelli. \n\nThe work of Stefano Bressani: “Urlo alla vita”\nBressani’s installation\, by the Pavia-born artist of 1973 known for his Sculture Vestite\, is titled Urlo alla Vita (“Cry to life”). Created with recycled fabric\, the work conveys a message of hope in contrast to the anguish of war depicted in Picasso’s masterpiece. An animal biting a man’s hand symbolizes the rebellion of nature and the desire for rebirth\, highlighted by warm colors and a radiant sun that evoke a bright future. \nThe exhibition and other reinterpretations of Guernica\nPromoted by The Mad Box\, the event opened on December 19\, 2015\, and remained on view until March 20\, 2016. Thanks to a multimedia screen installed in the exhibition\, visitors could explore the history of Guernica and follow the creative process behind the three contemporary interpretations. \n\nPaolo Baratella – “Per Guernica ora”\nBaratella interprets the drama of war in a contemporary key\, launching a clear appeal for a firm “NO” to violence and oppression. His work denounces the real causes of conflict\, such as the lust for power and the control of resources\, often masked by ideologies. \nPaolo Ceribelli – “.CODE.”\nUsing a striking visual language\, Ceribelli reflects on how society turns horrors into routine. The obsessive repetition of Guernica’s image becomes a warning against indifference and the cyclical resurgence of violence. \nA collective reflection on Picasso’s legacy\nThe exhibition represents an important opportunity for dialogue between eras\, styles\, and languages. The works of Bressani\, Baratella\, and Ceribelli offer a plural reinterpretation of Guernica\, keeping its symbolic power and universal message against all forms of oppression alive.

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at the Qatar pavilion at Expo 2015
DESCRIPTION:An immersive pavilion of culture\, tradition\, and innovation\nDuring Expo Milan 2015\, the Qatar pavilion stood out for its narrative strength and the intensity of the experience offered to visitors. The pavilion was conceived as an immersive journey\, where visitors could engage with traditional music\, dance\, and flavors. In particular\, the sofra — the typical Arab table symbolizing hospitality and sharing — was celebrated. \n\nSymbolic architecture and sustainable technologies\nThe pavilion’s architecture evoked an ancient palace-fortress. Four corner towers and a monumental entrance staircase defined its visual impact. At the center stood a large jafer\, the traditional food basket\, transformed into a true architectural installation measuring 11 meters in diameter and 8 meters in height. The structure also adopted sustainable technologies\, demonstrating Qatar’s commitment to environmental responsibility and food culture. \nMeeting Stefano Bressani: art and cultural exchange\nIn this evocative context\, Stefano Bressani engaged with the Qatar pavilion. The artist\, renowned for his Sculture Vestite\, was invited to explore the exhibition spaces and immerse himself in the pavilion’s evocative atmosphere\, reminiscent of an authentic Arab souk. His meeting with Mohammed Al Bloshi\, a prominent figure in Qatar’s banking and petroleum sectors and spokesperson for Expo Italy\, fostered a valuable artistic and cultural dialogue. \nA work dedicated to the Arabian horse\nBressani wished to pay tribute to Qatar with a work inspired by the Arabian horse\, a symbol of strength\, elegance\, and tradition. The horse is deeply rooted in the country’s culture\, with Qatar recognized internationally for its equestrian tradition. The country also hosts modern facilities and high-level sporting competitions\, reinforcing its role in the world of equestrian sports. \nA dialogue looking to the future\nThe experience at Expo left Bressani with a strong desire to continue the cultural and creative dialogue with Qatar. He hopes to organize a solo exhibition in the country\, an event that would strengthen the ties between these two different worlds\, united by a shared vision: promoting culture and innovation through art.

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at the shoe museum in Vigevano
DESCRIPTION:Art and fashion meet in the heart of Vigevano\nIn 2015\, Stefano Bressani joined the permanent collection of the International Shoe Museum of Vigevano with a work that blends contemporary art and fashion design. The museum\, located in the Sforza Castle\, is a landmark in the history of Italian and international footwear. \nThe MIC: history of shoes and great fashion names\nFounded in the 1950s\, the MIC “Pietro Bertolini” houses unique pieces belonging to historical figures and creations by Ferragamo\, Dior\, Armani\, Lagerfeld\, and Louis Vuitton. The collection traces the technical\, aesthetic\, and cultural evolution of footwear over time. \nA contemporary work in the permanent collection\nBressani’s entry into the museum came with a women’s shoe designed in collaboration with designer Silvia Fabiani. Inspired by the Monaca di Monza\, the work explores themes of ambiguity and duality\, central to the artist’s practice. It exemplifies a dialogue between visual language and sartorial craft. \nThe language of Sculture Vestite in a shoe\nThe piece is made with embossed fabric and three-dimensional surfaces\, in the full style of Sculture Vestite.\nThe shoe features asymmetric lines and the Maliumbas© motif\, a signature of Bressani. The partially exposed foot symbolizes tension and intimacy\, balancing form and concept. \nA symbol of applied art in design\nThe shoe is displayed on rotation among the museum’s galleries. The choice to include a Bressani work in the permanent collection demonstrates the museum’s openness to contemporary art and recognizes the importance of art within applied design. \nCraftsmanship and artistic vision\nWith this installation\, Stefano Bressani confirms his ability to translate materials and languages into unprecedented visual narratives. The work becomes a bridge between past and present\, between artisanal excellence and the most innovative aesthetic research. The International Shoe Museum of Vigevano remains a space for dialogue between the arts. \n

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at the Fiat 500 museum in Garlenda
DESCRIPTION:Art and engines: Bressani’s tribute to the Fiat 500\nFollowing the success of his exhibition at the Automobile Museum in Turin\, Stefano Bressani brought his art to Garlenda\, to the Dante Giacosa Multimedia Museum of the Fiat 500. The museum is dedicated to the renowned Italian engineer who designed the historic Fiat 500\, a symbol of Italian identity worldwide. \n\nAn exhibition during the Fiat 500 international meeting\nThe event took place within the 32nd edition of the Fiat 500 International Meeting\, an annual gathering attracting enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate the small yet iconic Italian car. The museum itself serves as a reference point for fans of design and the history of the 500. \nSculture Vestite: fabric and poetry in dialogue with the bodywork\nBressani presented his unmistakable Sculture Vestite\, fabric works that reinterpret automotive design poetically. The rounded forms of the Fiat 500 are recreated in fabric\, generating a striking contrast between the softness of textiles and the rigidity of metal. At the same time\, the artist highlights the shape and identity of the iconic vehicle without altering it. \nLitoprint: accessible and original art\nIn addition to the sculptures\, the exhibition included Litoprint: prints on paper with inserts of original fabric. Each print becomes a unique piece\, accessible even to collectors with smaller budgets\, while preserving the artistic value and tactile emotion of Bressani’s creations. \nAn initiative promoted by the Fiat 500 Club Italia\nThe invitation came from Domenico Romano\, president of the Fiat 500 Club Italia\, and vice president Alessandro Scarpa. The goal was to highlight contemporary art within a context connected to the history of Italian design. The combination of engines and art proved highly evocative and engaging. \nBressani: “each print tells the essence of my works”\nRegarding the Litoprint\, Bressani explains: “Without my sculptures\, the prints would not exist\, just as without eyes\, my sculptures would not exist. In each print\, I include a fragment of the fabrics I use in my works\, making every piece unique and precious.” \nArt\, design\, and Italian passion\nThis exhibition reaffirms the deep connection between art and the automobile\, between creativity and tradition. With the Garlenda show\, Stefano Bressani invites the audience to see the Fiat 500 with new eyes\, transforming an industrial icon into visual poetry and a material of art. \n

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at the M.A.C.I.S.T. museum in Biella
DESCRIPTION:Stefano Bressani at the M.A.C.I.S.T. Museum in Biella: art and social commitment\nThe Museum of International Contemporary Art Without Trends (M.A.C.I.S.T.) in Biella represents a unique combination of contemporary art and social engagement. Founded by Maestro Omar Ronda and supported by a group of international collectors and artists\, the museum aims to promote high-quality contemporary art without adhering to specific schools or movements. At the core of its mission is a strong ethical commitment: supporting the Edo and Elvo Tempia Foundation in the fight against cancer. \nWith over 150 Italian and international works from 22 countries\, displayed in permanent and temporary collections\, the M.A.C.I.S.T. museum offers an artistic experience that engages the public and raises awareness about important issues such as health\, research\, and prevention. \n\nThe work Pala Maliumbas: a symbol of style and sustainability\nAmong the invited artists stands Stefano Bressani\, personally called by his friend and Maestro Omar Ronda. For the occasion\, Bressani donated a work conceived to represent the core values of his artistic practice\, internationally recognized for its innovative technique using vividly colored fabrics. \nTitled Pala Maliumbas©\, the work is distinguished by sinuous shapes and bright colors\, elements that characterize the artist’s imagination and stylistic research. Measuring 260x30x8 cm\, the Pala Maliumbas is placed horizontally within the museum and serves as a symbolic “artificial horizon\,” inspired by an aeronautical concept. This metaphorical line marks the boundary between the real and the dreamlike\, inviting visitors to position their own perception and encouraging reflection and imagination. \nArt and social responsibility\nBressani’s work is not only an aesthetic manifesto but also a message of sustainability and recycling\, central themes in his artistic research. Its presence at M.A.C.I.S.T. demonstrates the power of art to unite beauty and social responsibility. An added value to Bressani’s participation is the engagement letter signed by renowned art critic Philippe Daverio\, who emphasized its artistic and symbolic significance. With this donation\, Stefano Bressani consolidates his role not only as an innovator in contemporary art but also as a promoter of an ethical and cultural message that extends beyond galleries\, reaching a wider audience and raising awareness of key societal issues.

SUMMARY:Walking the art: Bressani’s shoe sculptures in Vigevano
DESCRIPTION:Walking the art – Skultoshoes: Bressani’s exhibition in Vigevano\nIn the heart of Vigevano\, a city symbolic of Italian footwear\, a unique exhibition comes to life: Walking the Art – Skultoshoes. This innovative project merges art and fashion\, creating shoe sculptures designed by artist Stefano Bressani and designer Silvia Fabiani. \nLocation and sponsorship\nThe exhibition takes place in the evocative setting of the Second Stables of Sforza Castle. It is sponsored by the Municipality of Vigevano and supported by the Department of Culture. The show is the result of a two-year collaboration between the two creatives\, aimed at producing artisanal women’s shoes that combine three-dimensional design with innovative materials\, highlighting the tradition and excellence of Made in Italy. \n\nThe Skultoshoes: art\, fashion\, and innovation\nThe Skultoshoes are created using the patented Maliumbas fabric\, developed by Bressani together with Italian Converter\, a leading company in luxury textiles. These shoes are distinguished by clean lines\, high heels\, and platforms\, with a three-dimensional effect achieved through embossing\, giving the fabrics a unique tactile appearance. \nTechnique and comfort\nBressani defines this collection as tangible proof of the strong bond between art and fashion—two worlds that influence and enrich each other. Beyond aesthetics\, great attention is given to comfort. The Skultoshoes are therefore not only works of art to admire but also wearable shoes. \nAmong the exhibited pieces\, a male model created in collaboration with Vigevano-based Moreschi stands out. This shoe combines the company’s refined design with Maliumbas Velvet\, a symbol of elegance and innovation. \nRecognition and permanent collection\nThe Department of Culture\, represented by Daniela Del Frate\, emphasized the exhibition’s importance. It enhances Vigevano as the world capital of footwear\, a city proud of its artisanal history. The Sforza Castle\, with its Second Stables\, provides the ideal setting for an event that unites culture\, art\, and enterprise. \nA key moment was the inclusion of the first Skultoshoes prototype\, SK SH 0001\, in the permanent collection of the P. Bertolini Shoe Museum. Made with laminated metallic orange Maliumbas fabric\, this shoe marks the beginning of a new era in footwear art. Textile innovation and aesthetic research thus become a unique and captivating expressive language.

DESCRIPTION:Solo exhibition at the National Automobile Museum of Turin: a dialogue between art and engines\nFrom September 6 to October 5\, 2014\, the MAUTO in Turin hosted a solo exhibition by Stefano Bressani\, an artist known for creating Sculture Vestite\, an original artistic language combining aesthetics and creative reuse. \nCurated by Carlotta Canton\, artistic director of the Davico Arte Gallery\, the exhibition is part of MAUTO’s museum path\, renowned for its focus on design\, innovation\, and contemporary culture. \n\nThe Sculture Vestite: art born from fabric\nStefano Bressani is a self-taught artist who developed a unique technique: deconstructing forms and reconstructing them using fabrics and textiles. The result is a three-dimensional\, soft\, vibrant work\, full of meaning and depth. \nArt and sustainability\nHis works are not only visually captivating but also carry an ethical message: Bressani uses recycled fabrics\, promoting creative reuse and environmental sustainability. His sculptures thus become symbols for reflection on resource use and human impact on the planet. \nThe MAUTO exhibition: an immersive experience\nThe exhibition presents a selection of works that trace the artist’s stylistic and conceptual evolution. Within the museum path\, the sculptures interact with MAUTO’s technological and historical content\, creating a continuous dialogue between art\, design\, and engineering. \nVideo projection and creative process\nTo further enrich the visitor experience\, a video projection curated by Marco Sanna documents the creation phases of the works in the artist’s studio\, offering an authentic behind-the-scenes look at his practice. \nA journey through art and engines\nBressani is no stranger to the automotive world: he has collaborated with the Piaggio Foundation in Pontedera and participated in the itinerant exhibition Contemporary Art Meeting 500\, dedicated to the Fiat 500 myth. His works have also been displayed at international events\, including the Venice Biennale. \n\nConclusion\nThe MAUTO exhibition represents a significant step in Stefano Bressani’s artistic journey\, bringing art\, innovation\, and environmental awareness to a dynamic and experimental context. SUMMARY:Night of Wonders Venice: Stefano Bressani pays tribute to the Pink Floyd
DESCRIPTION:Night of Wonders Venice – Stefano Bressani honors the Pink Floyd with his Sculture Vestite\nIn 2014\, twenty-five years after the historic Pink Floyd concert in Venice\, the city celebrated the anniversary with a major international event: Night of Wonders. Hosted in the evocative space of the former Church of Santa Marta\, the exhibition offered an immersive journey into the history of the British band\, with photographs\, videos\, memorabilia\, and artistic installations. \nBressani’s works in dialogue with the Pink Floyd\nAmong the protagonists of Night of Wonders Venice was Italian artist Stefano Bressani\, known for creating Sculture Vestite. On this occasion\, Bressani presented two works inspired by iconic Pink Floyd albums: The Division Bell and The Wall. \n“Steel Faces”: light and fabric reinterpret The Division Bell\nThe installation Steel Faces\, inspired by the album The Division Bell\, reimagines the famous metallic heads designed by Storm Thorgerson using textile techniques. The sculptures\, measuring 240×180 cm\, interact with the natural light of the church\, creating chiaroscuro effects that enhance the soft colors and three-dimensional forms of the work. \n\n \n\n“What shall we do now?”: a reflective tribute to The Wall\nThe second work\, What shall we do now?\, draws inspiration from The Wall\, the concept album exploring themes of isolation and inner conflict. Bressani pays homage to Gerald Scarfe’s original drawings\, reinterpreting them with his sculptural technique to invite personal and contemporary reflection. \nAn exhibition of art\, music\, and memory\nCurated by the association Floydseum\, Night of Wonders Venice was much more than an exhibition: it was a multisensory journey that recreated the atmosphere of the Venetian concert on July 15\, 1989. Featuring previously unseen materials\, fan testimonies\, and artworks\, the exhibition highlighted the Pink Floyd’s impact on visual and musical culture. \nAlongside Bressani\, artists like Marco Lodola contributed with light installations inspired by The Wall\, creating a powerful and emotional visual dialogue. \nArt as a bridge between music and vision\nStefano Bressani’s participation underscored the role of art in giving new form to collective memory. His Sculture Vestite translate the Pink Floyd’s sound universe into visual material\, bringing depth and meaning to timeless musical icons.

SUMMARY:Palio del Ticino Pavia – The Ponte Coperto in Bressani’s sculptures
DESCRIPTION:Stefano Bressani celebrates the Ponte Coperto of Pavia\nThe Palio del Ticino in Pavia\, held in June 2014\, saw contemporary art take center stage thanks to Stefano Bressani’s work. For the eighth edition of the event\, the Pavia-born artist created the official banner for the Palio\, celebrating one of the city’s most beloved symbols: the Ponte Coperto. \nThe Ponte Coperto: a symbol of unity\nBressani chose the Ponte Coperto as the subject for the Palio del Ticino\, emblematic of the city’s identity. Rebuilt after World War II\, the bridge connects the two banks of the Ticino River\, uniting the city not only physically but also culturally and symbolically. For the artist\, the bridge conveys a message of continuity and connection across eras and traditions. \n\n \nBressani’s work for the Palio del Ticino\nBressani’s famous Sculture Vestite transform ordinary fabrics into three-dimensional artworks. His unique technique gave life to a banner full of meaning\, paraded through the streets of Pavia during the historical procession. The Palio del Ticino was thus enriched with a profound artistic interpretation\, blending historical memory and contemporary language. \nAn artistic commitment to the city\nBressani sees his art as a dialogue with the community. His participation in the Palio del Ticino Pavia is not only an aesthetic tribute but also an act of social responsibility. The artist aimed to convey the deep connection between the city\, its symbols\, and traditions\, offering a vision that draws from the past to imagine a shared future. \nArt and identity at the heart of the event\nThanks to Bressani’s work\, the 2014 Palio del Ticino confirmed its value not only as a sporting and folkloric event but also as a space for reflection on cultural identity. Art naturally integrated into the festival\, once again demonstrating its power to unite people\, stories\, and perspectives. \n\n

SUMMARY:Stefano Bressani at the Palazzo delle Arti Contemporanee del Broletto
DESCRIPTION:A solo exhibition in the artist’s hometown\nIn June 2012\, the Palazzo delle Arti Contemporanee del Broletto in Pavia hosted Thinking Pop\, a solo exhibition by Stefano Bressani that marked a moment of particular recognition in the artist’s hometown. With 38 works on display\, the exhibition combined the unmistakable style of his Sculture Vestite with the aim of linking contemporary art and local heritage. \n\nThe venue: the Broletto of Pavia\nA historic building in the heart of Lombardy\nThe Broletto of Pavia\, home to the exhibition\, is full of history and atmosphere. Built in the 12th century\, with Romanesque\, Gothic\, and Renaissance elements\, it is the oldest broletto in Lombardy. \nToday\, it hosts temporary exhibitions promoted by the Municipality of Pavia\, with a focus on contemporary art and dialogue between emerging and established artists. \nThinking Pop: a manifesto exhibition\nIn this context\, Thinking Pop revealed itself as a manifesto exhibition. The project\, conceived to be itinerant\, started in Pavia with the intention of creating a bridge between Bressani’s artistic vision and the cultural fabric of host cities. \nThe works on display span the first phase of his career\, from pop-world icons – cinematic tributes\, famous faces\, and archetypal figures – to a homage to the Duomo of Pavia\, Italy’s third-largest dome\, interpreted through deconstructed architectural forms and three-dimensional fabrics. \nOfficial inauguration and authoritative voices\nAt the opening press conference\, alongside the artist\, were Mayor Alessandro Cattaneo\, Cultural Assessor Gian Marco Centinaio\, and art critic Mauro Di Vito from the University of Pisa\, who offered a historical-artistic reading of Bressani’s work. \nThe language of the Sculture Vestite\nMatter\, symbol\, and identity\nThe conceptual core of the exhibition revolves around transforming matter into symbol: clothing fabrics\, recovered and assembled\, become expressive tools of a personal vision where art\, memory\, and consumption intertwine. \nThe works convey energy\, volume\, and identity\, interacting with the viewer through shared cultural references and a highly recognizable aesthetic. \nMaliumbas© and the ecological message\nAt the end of the exhibition path\, an ambient sound installation accompanies Maliumbas©\, a work dedicated to nature and sustainability. \nHere\, Bressani’s language extends to themes of ecology and recycling\, making his art not only an aesthetic object but also a tool for reflection. \nPublic success and cultural value\nThinking Pop was a success in terms of audience and emotional engagement. It represented not only a tribute to the city of Pavia but also an important milestone in Bressani’s artistic journey. \nThe event projected his poetic vision beyond local boundaries\, offering a contemporary perspective in dialogue with the world.

SUMMARY:Pleasure Key Bressani at the Museum of Eroticism in Amsterdam
DESCRIPTION:Pleasure Key Bressani at the Museum of Eroticism in Amsterdam\nIn the heart of Amsterdam’s Red Light District\, between architectural and symbolic contrasts\, lies the Museum of Eroticism. Housed in a 17th-century former warehouse overlooking one of the city’s historic canals\, the museum welcomes visitors with a neon sign and a stone plaque reading: “God is mijn Burgh” – God is my castle. An ironic and provocative message\, perfectly in tune with the free spirit of the Dutch capital. \nAn ironic and stimulating context\nThe museum spans three floors dedicated to international erotic art. Among photographs\, illustrations\, videos\, curious objects\, and works by famous artists such as Picasso and John Lennon\, it offers a visual narrative of sexuality\, provocation\, and the aesthetics of desire. In one room\, an erotic version of Snow White is projected on a loop. In another\, a vending machine offers collectible artistic condoms. \n\nPleasure Key Bressani enters the permanent collection\nIn this rich environment of expressive freedom\, in 2012 Stefano Bressani\, known as the “Tailor of Art\,” was invited to present a sculpture in the new section dedicated to contemporary erotic art. The work\, titled Pleasure Key\, is a stylized phallus\, 50 cm high\, covered in gold\, with a base shaped like an antique key. A powerful symbol representing access to pleasure and the key to libido. \nPleasure Key Bressani immediately stood out for its originality. The piece was selected for the museum’s permanent collection\, placed alongside Picasso’s erotic drawings. For the Pavia-born artist\, it was an important recognition\, linking his artistic research to the international scene and an unconventional context. \nA work that continues to surprise\nEven today\, visitors send Bressani photographs taken next to the sculpture. Pleasure Key Bressani has become one of the museum’s most photographed and discussed works. Its strength lies in its ability to combine irony\, provocation\, elegance\, and reflection through the skillful use of fabric\, form\, and symbolism. \nThis exhibition marked a decisive moment in the artist’s career. Three years later\, in 2015\, Bressani was selected to reinterpret Picasso’s Guernica in a sculptural key\, with a work placed in a Spanish collection alongside names like Paolo Baratella and Giovanni Ceribelli. \nPleasure Key Bressani therefore represents a significant node in his poetics: a point of contact between body and art\, provocation and spirituality\, eros and creative intelligence. \n

SUMMARY:Museo Piaggio – Sguardi d’artista
DESCRIPTION:A two-artist exhibition at the Museo Piaggio in Pontedera\nIn 2011\, the Museo Piaggio in Pontedera hosted Sguardi d’artista\, a two-artist exhibition featuring Stefano Bressani\, the Pavia-born artist known for his Sculture Vestite\, and Roman photographer Giovanna Biondi. The exhibition created an intense dialogue between two different artistic languages\, united by the theme of portraiture and the gaze as a form of narrative and exploration of identity. \nOfficial site Museo Piaggio \n\nMuseo Piaggio: history and cultural significance\nItaly’s largest motorcycle museum\nWith its 5\,000 square meters and over 250 historic vehicles\, the Museo Piaggio is the largest motorcycle museum in Italy and one of the main ones in Europe. \nIn addition to the permanent collection dedicated to Vespa\, Ape\, and the brands Aprilia\, Gilera\, and Moto Guzzi\, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions that open a dialogue between technology\, art\, and culture. \nExhibition spaces and temporary initiatives\nSguardi d’artista* was held in the temporary exhibition space of 340 m². \nInstitutional and cultural value of the exhibition\nThe exhibition held significant institutional and cultural value. Born as a tribute to the memory of President Fanfani\, it saw the participation of the Province of Pisa (Councillor Landucci)\, the Rinaldo Piaggio Foundation (Vice-President Manrico Ferrucci)\, the Municipality of Pontedera (Councillor Liviana Canovai)\, the museum director Sabrina Caredda\, and curator Francesco Mutti. \nStefano Bressani’s works: textile sculptures and the narration of identity\nTechnique and artistic meaning\nBressani exhibited works made from fabrics sourced from everyday clothing\, transformed into three-dimensional sculptures capable of conveying depth\, ambiguity\, and expressiveness. \nHis works reveal a metamorphic-creative tension aimed at unmasking the subject represented and restoring it to an almost sacred dimension. \nThe artist himself describes this process as a counterpoint to the glossy world of the star system\, where celebrity is stripped of its universality to regain authenticity. \nMeeting with Giuseppe Cau and homage to Vespa\nDuring the exhibition\, Stefano Bressani met Giuseppe Cau\, the historic rider who made Vespa famous. From this meeting\, a work was born paying homage to Vespa No. 94 94\, covered with the artist’s fabrics. \nThe piece was later published in one of the Piaggio Foundation’s notebooks (2011–2012) dedicated to Corradino D’Ascanio\, the Vespa inventor. \n“Coffee with the artist” and workshops in local schools\nThe initiative concluded with “Coffee with the Artist\,” a public event during which works created by local school students in workshops led by Bressani were presented. \nOne of these works\, co-signed by the artist and a young participant\, became part of the Museo Piaggio’s permanent collection. \nArt\, memory\, and territory in dialogue\nSguardi d’artista proved to be an authentic opportunity for exchange between art\, memory\, and territory\, consolidating the Museo Piaggio’s role as a dynamic and inclusive cultural center.
