In Fighting (2016)\, the energy of athletic movement merges with his plastic research\, bringing motion to the stage.  \nThe contrast between rigid materials and soft textiles reveals an aesthetic built on dualities: organic/inorganic\, solid/fragile — a language that escapes traditional definitions. \nBetween Pop Art and nature: icons and symbols\nWorks such as Fiat F2 and White Caddy (2014) pay homage to the automotive world\, while Regal Horse and the On My Fingers series (2013–2014) introduce a natural dimension through symbols like the frog — an icon of transformation and adaptability. \nAn aesthetics of inconsistency\nBressani’s creative process is born from musical and instinctive impulse. DESCRIPTION:An immersive pavilion of culture\, tradition\, and innovation\nDuring Expo Milan 2015\, the Qatar pavilion stood out for its narrative strength and the intensity of the experience offered to visitors. The pavilion was conceived as an immersive journey\, where visitors could engage with traditional music\, dance\, and flavors. In particular\, the sofra — the typical Arab table symbolizing hospitality and sharing — was celebrated. \n\nSymbolic architecture and sustainable technologies\nThe pavilion’s architecture evoked an ancient palace-fortress. Four corner towers and a monumental entrance staircase defined its visual impact. At the center stood a large jafer\, the traditional food basket\, transformed into a true architectural installation measuring 11 meters in diameter and 8 meters in height. The structure also adopted sustainable technologies\, demonstrating Qatar’s commitment to environmental responsibility and food culture. \nMeeting Stefano Bressani: art and cultural exchange\nIn this evocative context\, Stefano Bressani engaged with the Qatar pavilion. The artist\, renowned for his Sculture Vestite\, was invited to explore the exhibition spaces and immerse himself in the pavilion’s evocative atmosphere\, reminiscent of an authentic Arab souk. His meeting with Mohammed Al Bloshi\, a prominent figure in Qatar’s banking and petroleum sectors and spokesperson for Expo Italy\, fostered a valuable artistic and cultural dialogue. \nA work dedicated to the Arabian horse\nBressani wished to pay tribute to Qatar with a work inspired by the Arabian horse\, a symbol of strength\, elegance\, and tradition. The horse is deeply rooted in the country’s culture\, with Qatar recognized internationally for its equestrian tradition. The country also hosts modern facilities and high-level sporting competitions\, reinforcing its role in the world of equestrian sports. \nA dialogue looking to the future\nThe experience at Expo left Bressani with a strong desire to continue the cultural and creative dialogue with Qatar. He hopes to organize a solo exhibition in the country\, an event that would strengthen the ties between these two different worlds\, united by a shared vision: promoting culture and innovation through art.
